Texas Winter Salad with Raspberry Chipotle Dressing

1 lb baby spinach - Central Market Triple Washed is grown in Texas, if you don’t have your own!
1 Texas grapefruit, segmented
1 large avocado, sliced
To Taste: Mozzarella Company Chile Caciotta (Mozzarella Company Cheese is made in Deep Ellum and labels come from Lake Highlands own Chris Merlick and his company, Label Solutions, Inc.)
½ cup honey roasted Texas pecans
Mix ingredients and toss with dressing

Dressing

2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/2 cup rice wine or red wine vinegar
2/3 cup Fischer and Weisser Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce (made in Fredericksburg, TX)
Mix ingredients in bowl and toss with salad

Things to remember:

Gardening can be as calm or strenuous as you make it.

If it has been a while since your last physical checkup, you might want to see your doctor before you have a weekend warrior gardening mishap.

There's one more tip, and I cannot emphasize this one enough. Your most important tools for a lifetime of gardening enjoyment are sunscreen and a wide brimmed hat!
