LHT Deal of the Week Coach’s Burgers
Coach's offer a Back-to-School Deal of the Week
It may seem like just yesterday that Coach’s Burgers opened its doors, but their 2-year anniversary is just around the corner.

Lake Highlands resident and co-owner, Michael Stevens has enjoyed the ride so far.

“It’s been a lot of hard work but also a whole lot of fun!” says Stevens. “We think we have the right formula, and we continue to work hard to provide all our customers with a great product.”

Locally owned and operated, Coach’s Burgers is truly a family affair.

Owners include Michael and his wife, Vanessa, along with Vanessa’s brother, William Michalopulos and Michael’s nephew, Brian Chandler.

There’s also the story behind how Coach’s Burgers got its name.

Coach’s is named in honor of Michael’s late dad, Albert “Al” Stevens, who many people in the Lake Highlands community will remember as the man who simply loved to coach kids.

“My dad was a great coach and always there for me growing up,” says Stevens. “He had such a positive influence, not only on me, but on so many kids in the LH community.

“It just seemed right to name the restaurant after him."

With nine burgers on the menu, Coach’s is a great spot for every burger lover. (The Avocado burger is a LH Today favorite!) Of course, you can always “call your own play” and customize the burgers exactly to your liking.

They also have a great grilled chicken sandwich, including a honey mustard version. On the side, the sweet potato fries are often mentioned as some of the best in Dallas. For all you vegans in the LH community, Coach’s has a nice selection of salads to choose from, too.

Coach’s offers a casual atmosphere, great for family meals, birthday parties or end-of-the-season team celebrations. They have a wide selection of video games and several flat screen TV’s throughout the restaurant. Their full menu is available for to-go orders, as well.

Our Back to School Deal of the Week begins today - Monday, August 24th.

LH Today readers can get a free burger with the purchase of one burger and two drinks (see coupon for details).

“We are grateful to the LH community for all the support they’ve provided us over the last two years,” says Stevens. “Partnering with Lake Highlands Today on the Deal of the Week is a great way for us to show our customers our appreciation.”

Coach’s is located at the southwest intersection of Forest and Abrams, right behind CVS. Hours are Sunday – Thursday 11:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m.

Friday and Saturday they are open from 11:00a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
