Fresh flowers are on the way to LH
Owners Eddie Corbitt and Linda Miles began actively seeking buyers for their local floral business during the last weeks of summer.
LH Today is happy to report Lake Highlands Floral has been sold to Floral Group USA.
Floral Group USA owns two other florists here in the metroplex.
The Flower Cart, which is located near the intersection of Northwest Highway and Marsh, and a second location in Coppell.
LH Today contacted Floral Group USA to discuss their move to Lake Highlands.
“We are thrilled to be in Lake Highlands and look forward to getting to know the community,” says Marketing Director, Steve Solesbe.
“There is a lot of work to do at the shop, but we are certainly excited about the potential of our new location.”
Bob Stewart, the store's new manager, was busy yesterday cleaning out the old and bringing in the new.
According to Stewart, the whole store will be undergoing a make-over and will soon have the freshest flowers in all of Lake Highlands available on a daily basis.
So how did Floral Group USA find out about the business being up for sale? Well, in part LH Today's Deal of the Week article helped grease the wheels.
“Another Lake Highlands business owner, Toby O’Brien over at Eat The World, called us and told us about the Lake Highlands Today Deal of the Week article,” says Solesbe. “The rest is history.”
We encourage all our readers to stop by and welcome these new business owners to Lake Highlands!
Of course, their location is a familiar one - inside the Lake Highlands Plaza shopping center, right next to My Office and directly across the parking lot from Highlands Cafe.
Just look for the fresh flowers, and be sure to keep an eye out for another great Deal of the Week from our newest local business.
Now go Shop Lake Highlands!
