My Office provides a wide array of services that target the basic office needs of the general public, as well as the many small business owners in Lake Highlands.

Initially conceived to help fill the the void created when Earl’s Mail Center closed it's doors this summer, My Office has a fun yet practical business model.

As first reported by LH Today, local business owners Tony Doles and David Farris, saw the opportunity and moved quickly.

“We were sad to see Earl’s close their doors, but at the same time it was a great opportunity for us,” says Farris. “It was obvious the residents of Lake Highlands liked the convenience of Earl’s, so a customer base was already established.”

“While we can meet all the needs of Earl’s old customers, My Office also provides an expanded portfolio of services to support the residents and small business owners of Lake Highlands."

Coming up with the business concept and procuring the office space was the easy part. Executing the business plan presented some hurdles. Enter the familiar face of Tyler Oakley, who worked at Earl’s for over eight years.

“It was critical for us to have Tyler on board,” says Farris. “He knows the business inside and out, and he's a familiar face to LH customers.”

"It was an easy decision for me because I was out of a job when Earl’s closed,” explains Tyler. “However, I quickly became excited with the concept of My Office after learning more about the business model.”

Their August soft opening proved that things are coming together nicely.

While they're still working on building out the interior, the marquee sign went up last week and the staff is always eager to greet you with a friendly smile.

As David likes to say, “Crazy good customer service - that's what's going to make the difference!"
