Voting Day nears for Texans
It's time to get out the vote!

Once again Lake Highlands, it's time to get out the vote!

Election day is Tuesday, November 3rd, with early voting taking place October 19th - 30th.

On the ballot this year, voters will find 11 Constitutional Amendments.

Early Voting dates and times are as follows:

Mon - Friday Oct. 19-23 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 24 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 25 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Mon - Wed. Oct 26-28 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 29 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 30 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

During Early Voting you may vote at any location within Dallas county.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. If you don't vote early or by mail, you must vote in your voting precinct on Election Day.

What to take when you vote:

Whether voting early or on Election Day, remember to take your Voter Registration Certificate or another acceptable form of ID such as your drivers license, a photo ID, passport, birth certificate, or citizenship papers.

When voting without a Voter Registration Certificate or appropriate ID, you may have to sign an affidavit or fill out a provisional ballot.

You are permitted to take a sample ballot or other written material into the voting booth to assist you while voting.
