In addition to the benefits of owning his own business, his latest endeavor keeps him moving, active and healthy with clients looking for more of the same in their daily routines.
As he nears the one year anniversary of Silver Star Fitness, which caters to older adults and retirees, he's settling into a niche he says is underrepresented in the fitness industry.
"There are a lot of adults who want to feel better, and more fit, but don't want to make the trip to a gym," says Reeg, who also trains clients regularly at LA Fitness here in Lake Highlands.
"I'd seen business models that catered to in home fitness for stay-at-home moms but none for older folks."
"With more and more baby boomers retiring each year, they represent a huge percentage of the population and the fitness market."
Reeg's background includes teaching, collegiate gymnastics and coaching.
