Featured Wildcats
Blake Woodson
Junior 'Cats Baseball Player
Blake Woodson
Junior Blake Woodson likes to hit, and hit a lot. Over the past 8 games, Blake has a batting average of .577. He has 14 hits out of 26 at bats, including 5 homeruns and 17 RBI's.

Recently, while playing in the Elks Lodge Tournament against Tyler Lee, Blake went 4-4 from the plate including a double and three homers, one of which was a grand slam. As a sophomore, Blake was named District 9-5A All-District designated hitter.

Blake is a member of Highland Oaks Chuch of Christ, gave his life to Christ in 2005 and was baptized alongside his brother, Taylor. Blake hopes to continue to develop his baseball skills and take his game to the college level in 2011.
Curry Young
Senior Sprinter- Track
Curry Young
Curry Young will take her track spikes to UNT after she graduates from LHHS, but until then, she still has some unfinished business as a Wildcat.

Young has yet to start a race this season in which she didn't finish in first place. In the three most recent track meets, Young has won double gold medals by winning the 100M and 200M Dashes at each meet.

Currently, she is ranked 3rd in the area in the 200M Dash with a time of 24.84 and 11th in the 100M Dash with a time of 12.26.

Young will join her teammate, Paige McCutcheson, at the University of North Texas next year on a track scholarship.
