Desmond Roland
Wildcat Football - RB
With a playoff spot on the line last week against Berkner, Desmond Roland delivered in spades. Against one of the top rated defenses in the area, Roland went off for 285 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
Roland's performance against Berkner pushed his season rushing yardage total to 1,208 yards on 133 carries (9.08 avg per carry). Roland's 21 rushing touchdowns this season have earned him 2nd place in the area rankings.
Outside of football, Roland is involved in Young Life, is an LHHS Peer Helper and also involved in AVID. He is already committed to Oklahoma State and plans on majoring in Sports Management or Business in college.

David Green
'Cats football - DB and Kicker
Senior David Green is a busy man on Friday nights as both the starting cornerback, punter and kicker for the Wildcats football team.
David made a key defensive play against Berkner which all but sealed the win for the 'Cats. Late in the 4th quarter, while attempting a tackle, David forced a Ram's fumble which teammate Garrett Reeves gathered up to secure the 'Cats win. This season, Davd is 29 for 30 on extra points and made his only field goal attempt from 34 yards out.
David has lettered and excelled in three sports and is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and is also serves on the LHHS Student Council.
