Erin Brennan
Pitcher - Lady 'Cats Softball
As the starting pitcher for the Lady 'Cats, Erin's record this season was 16-6-1, earning her District MVP honors.
She gave up only 38 hits and 17 earned runs in 121 innings pitched with 156 K's on the season.
At season's end, Erin's ERA was an astounding .098. In District play, Erin had 48 at bats with 29 hits, 25 runs, 2 doubles, 4 triples and 18 RBI's. She also had 11 stolen bases.
Erin is 4.0 student and currently ranked 15th in her class. She is in the National Honors Society, Girls Service League, 2010-'11 Wranglers and an alter server at St. Patricks Catholic Church.

Byron Burns
Pitcher - Wildcat Baseball
Burns, who also plays shortstop for the 'Cats, recently pitched a masterful 1-hit shutout in Game 3 of the 'Cats Bi-District series against Rowlett - the best performance of his career.
As a starting pitcher this season, Byron has an overall record of 4-3. Byron has been a tremendous asset at the plate this year as well, registering 47 hits from 100 at bats (.470 avg) with 8 doubles, 1 homer, 9 stolen bases and 40 runs scored.
Byron is in the National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta Math Honors Society and serves on the LHHS Student Council. Byron plans on attending the College of Charleston next year and hopes to walk-on for the Cougars baseball team.
