Hannah Van Meter
Lady 'Cats Gymnast
After playing a key role in the Lady 'Cats repeat state title last month, Hannah traveled to Florida to compete in the Nationals meet earlier this month.
Out of 150 gymnast, Hannah placed 13th in the All-Around competition, 8th on the Beam and 16th on the Bars.
At the state meet in April, Hannah also played a key role in helping the Lady 'Cats repeat as state champs. She finished 5th in the All-Around, 2nd on the Floor, 4th on the Bars and 5th on the Vault.
Hannah will attend Abilene Christian University in the fall and will be a member of the school's gymnastics club team.

Ebrima Njie
Gold Medalist, Wrestling
Ebrima capped his high school career by winning gold medals in both the Freestyle and Greco Roman competition at the recent Texas USA Wrestling Championships, and did so by completely dominating his competition - going undefeated in the tournament.
Ebrima competes in the 215 lb. weight division and is a two-time state qualifier for Coach Grieder's LHHS Wildcat wrestling team. This year at the UIL state meet, despite a leg injury, Ebrima finished on the podium in 4th place. His overall record this year was 53-5.
In the fall, Ebrima has plans to compete with the Wayland Baptist University wrestling team. Congrats Ebrima!
