Lady 'Cats Volleyball
Matalee Reed
In a recent key district win over Berkner High School, Matalee's 17 kills and three solo blocks helped the Lady 'Cats push their district record to a perfect 4-0 on the season.

For the season Matalee has 366 kills, 127 blocks (58 solo/68 assisted), 204 digs and 25 aces from the service line.

Off the court, Matalee holds down a 97.25 GPA and is ranked 31st in her class. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Girls Service League, Young Life and serves on the Student Council. Matalee is being recruited to play collegiate volleyball and is actively visiting several colleges around the country.

Meron Fessahaie
On September 18th, Meron obliterated the field to repeat as the LH Invitational champion and tied a course record (15:50) on his way to the gold medal. Meron is looking to repeat as the District 9-5A champ on October 29th at Norbuck Park.

Meron is a dedicated student and community volunteer, as well. He is the Senior Class President, on RISD's Student Advisory Council and is a member of both the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta.

Meron plans to run cross country and track in college and will be narrowing down his choices after taking several recruiting trips this fall.
