If you're a golfer, start working on your swing. It's time to join the Wildcat Club for their 9th Annual Cat Classic Golf Tournament.
The tournament is scheduled for Tuesday, June 8th at Canyon Creek Country Club. Lunch will be served at noon, followed by a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.
Golfers will enjoy dinner and an awards ceremony immediately following tournament.
The Wildcat Club supports the coaches and athletes of all sports programs at Forest Meadow Junior High, Lake Highlands Junior High, Lake Highlands Freshman Center and Lake Highlands High School.
"The Cat Classic is a great way to support the club and its fundraising goals," says Libby Luther, who is chairing the event this year.
"The Wildcat Club is committed to supporting the Lake Highland’s Junior High and High School athletic programs as well as our collegiate scholarship program for graduating seniors."
"In doing so, the Cat Classic golf tournament is an important community event that has afforded the Wildcat Club and friends of Lake Highlands to donate over $1 million dollars to our athletic and collegiate scholarship programs since 1987," says Luther.
"We look forward to another great tournament next month and welcome everyone to come out and support Lake Highland’s athletes and students!"
Visit the Wildcat Club website at http://www.lhwildcatclub.org for registration and tournament information or call Steve & Libby Luther at 214.503.7869 with any questions.
