Head Coach Bob Williams and the LHHS Tennis team hosted a dual against Berkner on Wednesday and easily defeated the Rams by winning 7 out of 10 matches.

Maggie Duffy and Ana Lew continued their undefeated run for the season in doubles play with a win over Berkner and have now secured the #1 seed for the district tournament.

Also securing a #1 seed for the district tournament, and remaining undefeated in district play, was the boys doubles team - Ryan Berg and Wil Matthews.

The Mixed Doubles team made of up Celeste Allison and McGuire Boles fell to Berkner for their first loss of the season and will have the #2 seed at the district tournament.

According to Coach Williams, other players doing well on the season include Alex Ziehm, Nicole Rains, Noemi Rosas, Jonathan Olivo, and Spencer Wood. "We hope to have several kids winning district and making the trip to Waco for regionals," said Williams.

They'll be playing in the Varsity Stamped Tournament at Plano HS & Richardson HS on March 10th, and after Spring Break, will compete in the Fair Oaks Tournament on March 26th.
