HHM friends and supporters hit the links
Big 12 Commissioner and Lake Highlands resident, Dan Beebe, will be serving as the Honorary Chairman of the tournament.
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas is the Title Sponsor for the event for the second year in a row.
"Dan and Molly Beebe live in the Lake Highlands community and are very supportive," said Healing Hands Ministries Executive Director, Janna Gardner.
"They understand the need in the neighborhood and the value of our offering."
"We are delighted to have Dan as our Honorary Chair this year."
According to Gardner, last year's inaugural tournament drew 92 players and raised over $75,000, which amounts to approximately 15% of the organization's overall budget.
"Last year's tournament was incredibly successful. We are very fortunate to have a lot of friends, neighbors and sponsors who continue to open their checkbooks for our organization."
Funds from this year's tournament will be used for the women's and children's programs, as well as the HHM dental clinic.
"The women's program allows women in need to have well-woman exams and other procedures that they may not be able to have otherwise," said Gardner.
"For the children, the money generated will provide for immunization and flu shots as well as diagnostic care."
The tournament is organized as a 4-Man Scramble at the Lakewood Country Club.
The $150 per person registration includes prizes, lunch by Potbelly Sandwich Works and a Mexican food dinner following the tournament.
Hole-in-one prizes will include:
A Carnival Cruise Line "Set Sail on the Fun Ship" gift card valued at $10,000.
A Pebble Beach Golf Vacation for two, valued at $8,000. This 5 day/4night golf getaway package includes 3 rounds of golf plus round trip airfare for two.
An Hawaiian Golf Vacation for two, valued at $5,000. This package includes 8 days/7nights accommodations at Hapuna Beach golf resort with oceanfront room, golf and airfare for two.
