Register by March 14th for the 6-week series
Since the little ones don't come with instruction manuals – hence the title of the new series – one new local program has you covered.
Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church is holding open registration through Sunday, March 14th for the first program in its upcoming multi-event series, Parenting: until kids come with instruction manuals.
The first event in the series is entitled "Becoming a Love and Logic Parent."
It will be facilitated by Patty Germany, M.Ed, NCC, LPC, LMFT.
The series will explore simple, practical and easy to use techniques to help parents raise responsible kids, have more fun in their roles, and easily and immediately change their children’s behavior at every age and every stage.
Love and Logic is a philosophy founded in 1977 by Jim Fay and Foster W. Cline, M.D.
It's known as the approach of choice among educators, parents and professionals worldwide.
The series, which is open to the community, begins at the church on Wednesday, March 21st.
It will run for six consecutive Wednesdays from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. through April 25th.
Advance registration is required and the final day of registration is Wednesday, March 14th.
This series is valued at $350, but cost to participants is only $85 per couple; $95 if you elect to receive two copies of the book.
Childcare and light refreshments are included.
A free preview and Q & A session is being offered to all interested participants on Wednesday, March 7th at 6:15 p.m. at the church.
All are welcome to attend.
Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church is located at 8525 Audelia Road at Northwest Highway.
